Dime Store Hitman
available August 1, 2026
Meet Eddie "The Cowboy" DelDuco: low-budget hitman and human coupon for bad decisions.
No tuxedos, no silencers. Just garage-sale weaponry, garish lawn ornaments, burner phones, and a flair for the absurd. He takes people out the way other guys unclog sinks: cheaply, creatively, and usually with something from the clearance aisle at Target.
When Jessica Starling, a vapid but dangerously ambitious influencer, hires him to "relocate" her boyfriend, Eddie figures it's just another bargain-bin gig. Instead, he becomes the most famous man in Los Angeles who can't show his face; the killer who launches a thousand hashtags.
As rival influencers feud, a cryo-spa owner melts down, and a bibulous true-crime podcaster hunts clicks and fame, Eddie becomes the accidental star of L.A.'s dumbest murder mystery.
In a city where fame kills faster than Botox and celebrity is currency, The Cowboy trades in rumpled twenties, moral bankruptcy, and whatever's rolling around in your glovebox.
Death, Discovery and Carne Asada
"I didn't plan on killing people when I walked across America."
I made a list of things I wanted to do, and murder was not on it.
Yes, I killed people. A lot of people.
Now I'm going to tell you a story, a (somewhat) true story, about two killers and a hunting adventure like no other. A story of a man whose entire life was turned upside-down by a frozen, floating head and balls and a woman he'd never slept with.
A story of a man so broken he rescued a dog and set out across America on foot to mend his soul and hunt that bitch down. A story of death, discovery, and carne asada.
A story that should never, ever, encourage you to walk across America.
However, if it does, for some sick reason, inspire you to lace up some sneakers and attempt to do what only a dozen or so people accomplish each year, I'll throw in some pointers to help you out.
I am a murderer, but I am also a giver.

the reviews are in...DD&CA is "a must read!"
"WTF?? did that really happen?"
"quirky, crude & an amazing read!"
Everyone who walks across America writes a book, but this is by far the most bizarre and most fun of the cross-country hike memoirs. I think that it’s satire meant to poke fun at modern ideas of masculinity, but it’s also possible that Curran has just murdered a lot of people.”

Across America on Foot

by Thomas Curran and Twenty-Six other crazy people
Imagine traveling across the American continent on foot, as each of the 27 adventure authors in this compilation have done.
This book is the first-ever collection of people who have crossed the USA from one side to the other, and in some cases, more than once. Some traveled east to west; others went vice versa. Some crossed without support and others had family or organizations assisting.
These persons are from all walks of life: a recovering alcoholic, a retired CEO, a housewife, a teenager, and even a 10-year-old boy and his father. Some had a support vehicle while others were at the mercy of the elements with nothing more than a jogging stroller or a day pack.
These are stories of adventure where auto and truck traffic were dangers of daily life. These are the untold stories one cannot find in daily headlines.
They are stories that can only be told by those who have traveled more than 2,500 miles Across America on Foot.
Thomas was one of those adventurous crossers and storytellers.
BORN IN OC
The Artists, Entrepreneurs, and Visionaries of
Orange County, California
by Greer Wylder
I was honored to be featured in Born in OC by longtime lifestyle writer and dear friend Greer Wylder, who once referred to me as “the most interesting man in Orange County.” Clearly a temporary lapse in judgment brought on by good wine and questionable decision-making.
Over the years, Greer has built relationships with an incredible range of people who helped shape the culture and personality of Orange County, including author Dean Koontz, Hockey Hall of Famer Teemu Selanne, Vans legend Steve Van Doren, Megan Klink of Susan G. Komen, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, director McG, and dozens of other influential and fascinating people.
And somehow...
Me.
Yep. Good ol’ Thomas Curran somehow wandered into the lineup.
Born in OC is packed with stories, interviews, personalities, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the people who helped define Orange County culture. Grab yourself a copy and check it out.
